Are We There Yet?

After more than two years of recession most organisations and their people will be fed up with living amongst all the doom and gloom and will be eagerly looking for light at the end of the tunnel. With business opinion leaders constantly contradicting each other and with the media focussing on the negative instead of the positive, does anyone actually know what’s going on? The following questions need to be answered and it’s our intention to address these at Nine to 9.

Where are we in the recession/recovery life cycle - is the recession really over yet or just more wishful thinking?
How long will it really take to fully recover from the effects of the recession?
What’s keeping us awake at night?
Can anyone remember what ‘business as usual’ looks like?
Will ‘business as usual’ look the same or different post-recession?
What happens next?
Who survived and who didn’t and what lessons can we learn from them?
Where was HR during this recession and did they come to the rescue?
